Project Background
China Institute of Atomic Energy, founded in 1950, is the birthplace and pilot for basic & prospective research of China's nuclear technology. Such renowned scientists as Wu Youxun, Qian Sanqiang, Wang Ganchang, Dai Chuanzeng, Sun Zuxun and Fan Mingwu, who held the position as president for successive terms. The current president is Researcher Zhao Zhixiang.
For over five decades, thanks to the care and direction of the Central Committee of the Party and proper authorities, the institute has been able to make significant contributions to China's national defence, and economic development of nuclear technology. It has made breakthroughs and trained professionals in fields such as nuclear physics, nuclear & radioactive chemistry, accelerator technology, nuclear electronics & detection technology, isotope technology, radioactivity measurement, nuclear safeguards technology, radiation protection technology etc. Because of its contributions, the institute has received over 1,100 awards at the state and ministry level. Relying upon its new technologies-represented by the isotope radioactivity technology-and new products, it has achieved vast economic returns and social influence.
In China's nuclear technology development strategy, China Institute of Atomic Energy, as a comprehensive nuclear technology research base which mainly conducts, basic and prospective research, plays an indispensible and irreplaceable role.
Product Application
The China Institute of Atomic Energy Project has adopted and used several MODAN 6000 modular distribution switch cabinets produced by Zhenjiang Klockner-Moeller Electrical Systems Co., Ltd., a subordinate of Daqo Group. These cabinets, manufactured using the proprietary technology of Moeller Electric (Germany), are the most sophisticated of its kind in the present world and thus enjoy a high reputation for its reliability and high quality around the world. They have guaranteed the normal teaching, research and life activities of the institute. Zhenjiang Moeller Electric is willing to contribute whatever it can to China's national defence.
