Project Background
Guangdong Lingao Nuclear Power Station is located nearby the beautiful Daya Bay, east of Shenzhen City. As planned for the second-stage construction project of Lingao Nuclear Power Station, two million-kilowatt PWR nuclear power units will be assembled. This is in fact the 3rd commercial nuclear power station construction project of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Co., Ltd. after Dayawan Nuclear Power Station and the Lingao Nuclear Power Station. It is the first nuclear power station designed, constructed and operated independently by an enterprise and equipped with self-made million-kilowatt nuclear power units. Through this project, China will accelerate its pace in mastering the technology needed for the construction of the improved second-generation million-kilowatt power station. It possess the capacity to design this kind of power station and produce the equipment needed to lay a solid foundation for introducing and acquiring the technology necessary for the construction of the 3rd-generation nuclear power station.
Product Application
In 1997, Zhenjiang Electrical Equipment Factory successfully won the bid on the cable support systems of Guangdong Lingao Nuclear Power. We brought in the passivation technology from French Company FAMATON and advanced hot-dip galvanizing equipment from German Company BERG. This expanded the life-span of our cable support systems up to 40 years. From this moment on, we were the first local manufacturer in China to supply cable support systems for the Nuclear Power Industry.
