Project Background

Guangzhou International Conference & Exhibition Centre is located on Pazhou Isle near to the southern bank of the Zhujiang River (Pearl River). A total of 4 billion yuan (RMB) was invested during the first stage of its construction. Covering a land area of 430 thousand square metres and a gross floor area of 395 thousand square metres, it is a three-storied building consisting of 16 standard exhibition Halls, whose total area amounts to 160 thousand square metres and provides 10,200 internationally standardized exhibition booths. There are 1,800 open-floor parking spaces and 40 parking spaces for large-size vehicles. The centre, spacious inside as well as outside, is furnished with service facilities of various kinds and can be used to hold conferences, exhibitions, business negotiations, presentations, performances, banquets, press conferences, large gatherings, and ceremonies. At present, it is Asia's largest and the world's second largest conference & exhibition centre, second only to Hanover Exhibition Centre of Germany. It is a landmark and tourist attraction in Guangzhou as well as an ideal place for foreign trade, business communication and technological exhibition.

Product Application

In 2000, Guangzhou International Conference & Exhibition Centre purchased dozens of ID2000 distribution panels produced by Zhenjiang Klockner-Moeller Electrical Systems Co., Ltd. of Daqo Group. This product, with its original transparent door design, enables the user to observe the operation of the equipment inside without opening the doors. It excels in anti-corrosion, impact resistance, and high temperature resistance. These characteristics guarantee the smooth development of exhibitions held in Guangzhou International Conference & Exhibition Centre.
