Municipal Expert Panel Visits Changjiang Electric for Mid-Term Review of Key Technology Project

Recently, a delegation of experts from the Zhenjiang Science and Technology Bureau visited Jiangsu Daqo Changjiang Electric Co., Ltd. to conduct a mid-term review of the company’s major municipal science and technology project — the *“R&D of 72.5kV Eco-Friendly Gas-Insulated Switchgear for Offshore Wind Turbines”*, led by its Gas-Insulated Switchgear Division. The company’s General Manager, [FULL NAME], along with project leaders warmly received the delegation and accompanied them throughout the review.
During the meeting, the project team reported significant progress, highlighting that the switchgear has already:
• Passed type tests at the Xi’an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute;
• Obtained China’s first IECEE CB certification for products of this kind from TÜV Rheinland Germany;
• Been recognized as “First (Set) Major Technical Equipment” by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology;
• Received new product and technology appraisals from the China Machinery Industry Federation;
• Filed 15 patent applications, including four for inventions.
The expert panel conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the project’s advancements, core technological innovations, and fund utilization, offering high praise for the results achieved and the effective implementation of the initiative.
Focused on the development of high-voltage and eco-friendly switchgear designed for offshore wind power systems, this project holds strategic importance in supporting the upgrade of new energy equipment and fostering green, low-carbon transformation.
