Project Background
Xin'anjiang and Wujiangdu Hydropower Stations are two significant power stations within China. Xin'anjiang hydropower Station notably, has the most complex busbar layout in China, and possibly the world. The vertical segment of the busbar is 80 meters. It has the horizontal segment and the tilted segmentation in the front and back. Designing the shape of each segment is an intricate process. The vertical drop of Wujiangdu Hydropower Station is 70 meters. It is second only to the Xin'anjiang Hydropower Station.
Product Application
In the two power stations, Jiangsu Daqo Enclosed Busbar Co., Ltd. used the calculation program for vertical, level and tilt segmentation, which is developed by Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Numerous technical hiccups have been solved by the highly successful program. Unit 3 of Xin'anjiang hydropower has been operating for two years. The practice has proved the accuracy of the calculation program, and the mechanical calculation is in full compliance with its requirements, and the average rise in temperature is comparable to reality. The analysis and calculation about the natural air convection of the heat transfer of the long tilt and the vertical segment, which is developed by our company and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, becoming a domestic leader and nationally renowned.
