Integrated Automation System of Hydropower Plant

D6000system adopts the design method of device-oriented object and layered anddistributed structure. According to the different-sized hydropower plant and technicalrequirements, the monitoring software based on Windows operating system can bechosen. Abiding by the TCP/IP, SQL, ODBC, COM/DCOM, ActiveX, C++, Office,IEC61131 and other international standards and widely used software tools, thissystem is with complete function, advanced technology, easy and safe operationand little maintenance.

 

D6000 system has the good property of openness,abundant and convenient extension capability, and simple and friendly userinterface, good online help, and characteristic of constant integrating newtechnology. It can be widely used in the hydropower plant and water controlproject.

D6000hydropower plant automation system adopts computer, programmable logiccontroller (PLC) or intelligent I/O, microcomputer relay protection device andprivate intelligent measuring and control device to connect master computerwith control station and intelligent equipment on the site through Ethernet andfieldbus. It constitutes the real hierarchical and distributed system andrealizes unattended (less attended) hydropower plant.

1.       Open System

The system adopts the highly integrated and open-generalplatform with good scalability. It contains many functions, such as SCADA,equipment management, information management, operation ticket management andso on. Based on the safety, it can offer access interface to the enterprisenetwork system.

2.       Advanced System Structure

The system adopts composite structure, which makes itequipped with multiple servers and clients in accordance with the function. Itcan configure all components in the host, or distribute data collection,storage, historical trend analysis and human-machine interface in thedistributed structure.

3.       Flexible Configuration

According to the monitoring object and function, thesystem adopts distributed structure to make it with good dispersibility,openness and flexibility. System configuration and equipment selection conformto the development characteristic of computer technology. The main controllayer could be composed of sever, workstation, IPC and others. PLC of multiplebrands or intelligent controller can be chosen as the core device of the groundcontrol station to ensure the good compatibility and reliability of the system.
