Daqo Group Assists in the Successful Production of the World's Largest Ethanol Plant

Recently, the 600,000 tons/year ethanol joint plant of the methanol comprehensive utilization project of Anhui Carbon Xin Technology Co., Ltd. has achieved a one-time pass through the whole process and produced qualified ethanol products. Zhenjiang Daqo Intelligent Electric Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Daqo Electric Co., Ltd. under Daqo Group provided digitalized MV and LV switchgear equipment and solutions for the project, and the products operated stably and were well received by users.
Anhui Carbon Xin Technology Co., Ltd. is a member of Huaibei Mining Group, the project is located in Anhui (Huaibei) new coal chemical synthetic materials base, is currently the world's largest ethanol plant built. It is reported that the first barrel of high-quality ethanol in the project has been successfully produced, and a new route for clean, efficient, and low-carbon utilization of coal has been developed, opening up a new track for non-grain fuel ethanol technology; achieving an annual emission reduction of about 50,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent.
This project is another major coal chemical project served by Daqo Group after a series of national key large-scale chemical projects, such as Shenhua Ningxia Coal Coal-to-Liquid and Coal Indirect Liquefaction, Shenhua Yulin Phase I Methanol-to-Olefin and Phase II Coal-to-Methanol, Jingbian gap filling project Yanchang China Coal Yulin Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd., and Shaanxi Coal Yulin Chemistry, etc.
