On the afternoon of September 2nd, entrusted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Zhenjiang and Yangzhong Science and Technology Bureaus organized relevant experts to conduct a project acceptance on the sub project of the Jiangsu Provincial Key R&D Plan undertaken by Daqo Group, "Research on Key Technologies of Circuit Breakers for Ship DC Network Power Propulsion Based on Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection".

This project is one of the three sub projects of the provincial key research and development plan project "Research and Development of Key Technologies for Ship DC Networking Based on Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection". This project is jointly implemented by the Technology Department of Daqo Group, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, and Jiangsu Outputech Automation Technology Co., Ltd. The three parties are responsible for the research and development of DC circuit breakers, ship energy matching and management systems, and propulsion inverters. On the basis of passing the acceptance of the three sub projects, the overall project (project) acceptance will be carried out.
The acceptance expert committee believes that the research group has conducted research on key factors and their influencing laws in the DC breaking process, comprehensively considering the arc magnetic field, flow field, and mechanical dynamics characteristics to jointly design DC switches, solving industry difficulties such as DC arc extinguishing, DC intelligent protection, and adaptability to marine environments. A prototype of a ship DC network power propulsion circuit breaker based on energy conservation and environmental protection has been developed. After third-party testing and testing, the performance meets the contract assessment requirements. The expert group unanimously agreed that this project has passed the acceptance.
