West Sichuan Gas Field is a key supervision project for the construction of the national production, supply, storage, and sales system, as well as a key project in Sichuan Province. It is also an important component of the construction of a 100 billion cubic meter natural gas production base in Sichuan and Chongqing regions. It is planned to be fully completed and put into operation by the end of 2023, with an annual natural gas production capacity of 2 billion cubic meters.
