In the recently held 11th National Federation Congress, Daqo 's 1.5-3MW direct-drive wind power converter gained 2012 Excellence Science and Technology Award of the Federation of Industry. The converter was developed by Daqo and the Navy Engineering University, and passed the product identification by the National Energy Board.
