Sinochem Refining (Guangdong) Phase I
Gulei Refining & Chemical, in Zhangzhou, Fujian, is a 50-50 joint venture between Sinopec Fujian Refining & Chemical and Taiwan-invested Xuteng Investment. As the largest cross-strait petrochemical JV to date, it accelerates cross-strait industrial collaboration and boosts local economy.
Phase I includes 9 chemical plants (1Mt ethylene, 600kt/yr styrene), supporting utilities, and a 7.8Mt/yr terminal. It produces 18 key products (polypropylene, ethylene glycol, etc.) with 3Mt/yr estimated output.
