In order to further enhance the staff's awareness of fire safety, popularize fire safety skills, and improve the level of fire safety management and emergency response capability, on the afternoon of June 18, Nanjing Daqo Investment Co.,Ltd. invited the fire brigade of Jiangning Development Zone, and organized the staff of each company to carry out fire drills.
The general manager of Nanjing Daqo Investment made a mobilizing speech before the drill, emphasizing that the laying of electrical lines in the plant should conform to the safety norms, and that the safety operation procedures must be implemented when using all kinds of electric power and fire-fighting equipments temporarily; guaranteeing that the safety channels are free, and ensuring that the fire-fighting facilities and equipments in the plant are in good condition and effective.
This fire drill is divided into on-site explanation, fire hose shooting exercise, emergency evacuation and fire extinguishing several parts, the fire squadron started the fire engine fire extinguishing exercise, Nanjing Daqo Electric Co.,Ltd. micro fire station volunteer firefighters also carried out a police drill. Through this practical exercise, the staff deepened their understanding of firefighting knowledge, improved their practical skills in emergency rescue and the correct use of firefighting equipment, and further enhanced their safety awareness.
