From November 18 to 20, Daqo Group participated in Enlit Europe 2025 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Spain. We showcased our DQS-24 air (SF6-Free) gas-insulated ring main unit, S-Series 10kV oil-immersed distribution transformers, SCB-Series 10 kV energy-efficient dry-type power transformers, alongside a range of high-quality digital products and integrated solutions. In response to the European power sector's needs for decarbonization and digital transformation, we presented internationally certified distribution solutions ready for rapid deployment across utilities, data centers, energy storage projects, and industrial users.

This year's exhibition highlighted the industry's focus on green transition and building resilient grids. Facing dual pressures from high renewable energy penetration and aging infrastructure, many European countries urgently need to upgrade medium- and low-voltage distribution networks to meet higher safety and efficiency standards. Digitalization was emphasized as a key enabler for remote visibility, control, and maintenance. Distribution network operators, transmission companies, EPC and engineering firms, as well as data center and energy storage developers from Greece, Portugal, Spain, Germany, France, and other countries held in-depth discussions with our team. Key topics included SF₆-phase-out replacement technologies, retrofitting legacy switchgear and transformers, and the use of integrate prefabricated solutions to shorten project timelines and reduce interface complexity.

Daqo Group presented a comprehensive approach built on "internationally certified system solutions + proven engineering delivery + localized adaptation services". Our portfolio – centered on SF₆‑free medium‑voltage switchgear, digital MV/LV distribution equipment, distribution transformers, busbar systems, and prefabricated modules/E‑Houses – delivers integrated solutions for grid hubs, data center medium-voltage sides, and grid connections for energy storage and renewables. The product family complies with IEC and IEEE standards, and has obtained CE, ASTA, KEMA, UL, and other international certifications. Supported by engineering and delivery experience from projects across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia, our products offer high reliability and maintainability. With our Frankfurt office and local teams in multiple European countries, we provide end-to-end support covering front-end consulting, engineering design, factory prefabrication, on-site commissioning, and O&M training – shortening manufacturing lead times (4-6 weeks) and reducing uncertainties related to construction and multi-party interfaces.

At the booth, the DQS air (SF6-free) gas‑insulated RMU series attracted significant interest for its high reliability, clean insulating gas, and internationally recognized KEMA type-test reports covering both the load breaker units and circuit breaker units. The series can be equipped with digital monitoring and protection units, enabling remote control, condition monitoring, and fault location, all of which enhance availability and reduce lifestyle O&M costs. Daqo's independently designed and manufactured dry-type and oil-immersed transformers deliver high efficiency, robust overload performance, and low noise, reducing energy consumption while ensuring reliable performance operation in demanding grid conditions. For complex application scenarios, Daqo's integrated prefabricated substation solution – pre‑assembled and factory-tested – reduces on‑site civil work and multi‑party coordination efforts, making it ideal for data center expansion, rapid energy storage grid connection, and distributed renewable integration. Complementary digital MV/LV switchgear and busbar systems provide a complete distribution chain from primary to secondary equipment, supporting flexible expansion and future upgrades.

Discussions during the event indicated growing industry emphasis on international certifications and digital capabilities. Kyriakos Maroulakos, Utilities Business Manager at Enerta Greece, noted that as the sector shifts to SF₆‑free and digital switchgear, certifications from authoritative lab are critical to ensuring reliability and performance, with demand for remotely controllable digital solutions rising significantly. Marcantonio Unida, Daqo Group's Country Manager for Spain and Italy, added that Daqo's integrated systems are designed to meet modern grid requirements, enabling smooth renewable integration while leveraging international certifications and engineering experience to enhance grid resilience and O&M efficiency.

Throughout the exhibition, the Daqo team held technical discussions with visitors based on live equipment and representative project cases. Topics included legacy asset retrofits, digital protection and monitoring, project delivery organization, and risk control. Multiple potential projects in Southern and Western Europe saw clear cooperation intent established. We also engage with several technology partners regarding joint application of Clean Air RMUs, digital protection, and condition monitoring systems, laying a foundation for subsequent pilot projects and scaled deployment.

Building on the technical exchanges and customer feedback from this year's event, Daqo Group will continue to advance the local adaptation and engineering deployment in Europe of eco‑friendly gas‑insulated RMUs such as the DQS Air series and related digital products. We will drive the implementation of collaborations with utilities, data centers, and energy storage projects. Additionally, through our Frankfurt office and multi‑country local teams, we will accelerate project follow‑up and service response, supporting Europe's distribution system upgrades toward a greener, more reliable, and more efficient future.
