The VG3-40.5 is a new, isolated vacuum circuit breaker with a leading domestic design. It is designed for three-phase AC 50Hz systems (rated voltage 40.5kV) and is ideal for 35kV cubicle type substations in wind and solar power generation networks.

It can break load, overload, and short-circuit currents. It can also function as a standalone unit in power systems. The vacuum interrupters are solid-sealed, and the design separates the disconnector/ground switch from the circuit breaker into two compartments for safe maintenance.
