First in Greater China! CJEC’s GIS Awarded TÜV Rheinland 72.5 kV Environmentally Friendly GIS CB Certificate

On August 9, 2024, following testing and evaluation by the internationally renowned certification body TÜV Rheinland, Jiangsu Daqo Changjiang Electric Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Changjiang Electric") received the first CB certificate in Greater China for its 72.5 kV environmentally friendly gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear. This certification recognizes the product’s outstanding performance and marks a significant breakthrough for Changjiang Electric in the field of fluorine-free environmentally friendly gas-insulated switchgear.

The 72.5 kV environmentally friendly gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear from Changjiang Electric uses clean air as the insulation medium and vacuum technology as the arc-extinguishing medium. It boasts prominent advantages such as being environmentally friendly, highly reliable, maintenance-free, and suitable for marine environments. The product is primarily intended for use in offshore wind power and photovoltaic power generation. This product successfully passed all type tests at TÜV Rheinland’s CB laboratory, Xi'an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute Co., Ltd. As a key piece of core equipment in offshore wind/photovoltaic power collection systems, this product is poised to break the international monopoly on large-capacity environmentally friendly offshore wind power equipment, aligns with the country’s dual carbon goals, and offers vast market application potential.
