Factory visit and technical exchange

GoodWe's team toured Daqo's production facilities for RMUs (ring main units), oil-immersed transformers, and prefabricated substations. The team gained insight into Daqo's end-to-end manufacturing capabilities, key production processes, and quality control systems, and how these strengths enable reliable delivery and service for overseas projects.

In the working session, both sides exchanged views on industry trends, evolving project requirements, and opportunities for deeper technical and commercial collaboration. GoodWe shared its experience and global footprint in the inverter market, noting rising demand from utility-scale PV and BESS developers for integrated, high-reliability solutions.

Complementary strengths and shared capabilities

The discussions highlighted strong portfolio between the two companies:

  • Daqo Group brings integrated capabilities across the electrical value chain, from key components to transformers and complete power distribution solutions, enabling a one-stop approach for renewable energy projects. With more than 500 overseas service professionals and extensive experience supporting projects aligned with European standards, Daqo continues to strengthen its international delivery capabilities.

  • GoodWe is recognized for its strong technology foundation in PV inverters and its well-established global market presence, with growing momentum in utility-scale ground-mounted PV and energy storage applications.

By combining these complementary strengths, both parties aim to improve solution integration, project execution efficiency, and lifecycle value for customers worldwide.

Four collaboration priorities

Building on a shared strategic direction, the two companies identified four priority areas for collaboration:

-Integrated solutions

Integrate Daqo's transformer and prefabricated substation capabilities with GoodWe's inverter technology to jointly develop integrated solutions for utility-scale PV and energy storage plants.

-Market collaboration

Strengthen international coordination through aligned go-to-market plans and expanded service coverage in key regions, including Europe, Australia, and Latin America.

-Technology co-development

Joint engineering efforts focused on 5MW energy storage systems, including thermal management and space/layout optimization, alongside the development of standardized containerized energy storage products and liquid-cooling technologies.

-Standards and ecosystem alignment

Closer alignment between high-quality manufacturing capabilities and international project requirements, contributing to a more sustainable and scalable collaboration ecosystem.

Next steps: project execution and system-building

To translate alignment into tangible results, both parties agreed to establish a regular coordination mechanism and move forward on the following actions:

  • Select an initial set of priority cooperation projects and accelerate cross-functional alignment between product lines.

  • Evaluate options for overseas capacity deployment to respond to rising localization expectations in international markets.

  • Expand local service partner networks in key overseas regions to strengthen delivery and after-sales support.

  • Build efficient, routine channels for market insights and technical resource sharing to improve collaboration speed and execution quality.
