In dry-type transformer manufacturing, the standard use of epoxy resin generates significant waste, with industrial drums typically discarded as hazardous material after a single use.
At Daqo Transformer, we saw an opportunity to redesign this process – reducing waste without compromising product quality or performance.
In collaboration with our resin suppliers, we implemented a closed-loop return-and-reuse system for epoxy resin drums. After each use, drums are collected, professionally cleaned, rigorously inspected, and reintroduced into production under strict safety and quality protocols.
To ensure full transparency and control, each drum is digitally tracked throughout its lifecycle via mobile and web-based platforms. Reuse is only authorized after meeting predefined inspection criteria, guaranteeing consistency and operational safety.
